AS 9100
Aerospace standard (AS) 9100, based on the ISO 9001 standard for quality management systems, certifies aerospace-grade quality management systems under the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). It includes strict guidelines for quality management systems for use with space, aviation, and defense products.
AS9100 is an internationally recognized standard that OEMs and organizations worldwide recognize for consistent quality control. By following quality management practices that meet AS9100 standards, organizations can trust their products and parts will meet the stringent regulatory requirements for aerospace materials and applications.
NADCAP Accredited Chemical Processing
New Method Plating provides NADCAP-accredited plating, which helps us guarantee consistently high quality standards, particularly for aerospace applications. This certification comes from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP), and it evaluates plating and chemical processing based on a number of process-specific criteria.
The Performance Review Institute (PRO) administers evaluations to ensure processes meet these strict standards. PRI determines whether processes, testing, and safety checks align with standard procedures. It also includes how critical data related to each specification is recorded, curated, and stored.
NADCAP accreditation is an essential requirement for any company serving companies in the aerospace industry today, and it requires current AS9100 certification as well.
